PIPPI LONGSTOCKING
This non fiction book is about a nine year old girl called
Pippi Longstocking, who lives in Villekulla Cottage with only her Monkey and
Horse. This amazing book was written by
Astrid Lindgren and illustrated by Tony Ross.
This book is about a nine year old girl called Pippi
Longstocking who lives on her own with her Monkey and Horse. She has no parents
as her Mother died when she was just a baby and her Father when missing at sea.
So she has nobody to boss her around and tell her what to do.
Pippi is a free spirited girl and is not afraid to do anything. She is extremely strong and she has so many
wild ideas. She seems to always be getting herself into trouble.
I liked this book because I think I am quite a lot like
Pippi, like her I'm not afraid to take risks, I'm out going and free spirited
and I go with the flow just like her. What
wasn't so good about this book was that a few things dragged on and if things
drag on to long sometimes you start to lose interest.
I think the theme of this book was just to have fun and
don't be afraid about things, give everything a go. I think the point of
writing this book was to try and tell people to make the most of life and don't
waste it, just have fun and be happy. That's the message I got form the book
and I think that is what people should take on board.
Overall I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it
for people to read, It was funny with a bit of craziness.
This book sounds exciting and your review makes me want to read it.
